No, iPad 2 series, which includes iPad 2 CDMA, iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, cannot use eSIM. These tablets are made to work with regular SIM cards only.
eSIM is a newer feature that lets you use mobile plans without a physical SIM card, but it is only available in newer iPad models starting from the 2018 iPad Pro models. This includes both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch versions.
To use eSIM, consider upgrade to a newer iPad model that supports eSIM. You can find a list of eSIM-compatible iPads to choose the most suitable one.
