How do I delete an eSIM from an iPhone?

You can delete the eSIM from you iPhone when:

  • The data plan has ended its validity
  • You do not want to use the eSIM plan anymore

Deleting the eSIM from your iPhone means you are removing the profile that you installed on your device. It does not mean you end the contract or plan you are on. Make sure that you really want to delete the eSIM profile from your iPhone. Most eSIM providers will only allow customers to scan the QR code to activate an eSIM once for security reasons.

To delete your eSIM from your iPhone, take these steps:

  • Go to Settings menu > select Mobile Data
  • Select the plan you want to delete
  • Select “Delete Mobile Plan
  • Depending on the phone model, the text can be “Delete Mobile Plan“, “Remove eSIM” or something similar
  • Done!
