Does Samsung Galaxy J7 series support eSIM?

No, the Samsung Galaxy J7 series, which includes models like J7, J7 (2016) and J7 (2017), J7 Max, J7 Prime, J7 Pro, cannot use eSIM. These phones are made to work with regular SIM cards and cannot support eSIM technology.

eSIM is a newer feature that lets you use mobile plans without a physical SIM card, but it is only available in newer Samsung models starting from the Samsung Galaxy S20.

If you want to use eSIM, you have two choices:

  • Get a special SIM card: You can get a special SIM card that adds eSIM functionality to your device.
