VI. How many eSIM can be used on a eSIM-compatible device?
The maximum number of eSIMs which can be installed on the device ranges from 1 to 20, depending on your device model.
However, you are advised to have 3 at maximum in your device only, and only one eSIM can be active at one time.

To use eSIM, your phone must be carrier-unlocked and support eSIM technology. It’s not difficult to figure out whether your phone is carrier-unlocked and works with eSIM as all are shown in your phone’s Settings menu.

How to know if my phone supports eSIM?
The fastest and most warranted way to know if your phone supports eSIM or not is to take these steps:
– For iPhone: go to Settings > Mobile / Cellular > check if there is “Add eSIM” or not
– For Android: go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > check if there is “Add eSIM” or not.
How do I know if my Samsung S20/21 is FE or not?
To check if your Samsung S20/21 is FE or not, please go to Settings >> About phone, and then check your phone model name. If it’s FE version, you will see the letters “FE” there. For example, the photo below shows you: “Galaxy S21 FE 5G“.
Is the iPhone X (iPhone 10) compatible with eSIM?
No, the iPhone X or iPhone 10 is not compatible with eSIM. eSIM technology is only available on models from iPhone XR and XS in 2018 on wards.
Is the Oneplus compatible with eSIM?
Yes, Oneplus 11 does support eSIM currently.
Does the Huawei P40 Pro+ support eSIM?
No, only Huawei P40 and P40 Pro models support eSIM. The reasons can be that the ceramic case of the Pro+ version limit this eSIM technology’s application.
